I am having some problems when trying to add a second spouse to a name on my tree, i.e. relatives who have been married twice. How do I show two husbands with one name please? :-( |

You click on the person you want to add another spouse to. Click on Add, then click on Spouse. |

I have had no trouble adding spouses using Kense's instructions. |

I think you'll find that when you add more wives they appear in age order. |

Grannyfranny you may well be right, but in my case they are alphabetical as well! |

Add the second spouse in exactly the same way as you added the first |

Andysmum, my ggrandad had 2 wives. second wife Ms P, b 1855, and first wife Ms C, b 1861, that is the order they appear in. Ms P has no children with him, so they don't appear, Ms C has some who do. I just added pretend wife 3, called Ms A, b 1861, she appears as wife 3. |

Grannyfranny, that's not a bad idea. I might try that and then I would be my mother's daughter and not my stepmother's!! :-S |

Just one further query folks. Before I became able to add second spouses, I have sometimes created a new record for the person with more than one spouse. Is it possible to integrate the two records for that person into one record, without having to delete all the offspring from the second record? |
