need help trying to find my mams sister named madeline wild born 3/5/1942 in sunderland we have been searching for years don't know how to trace her or find a marriage :-(

If that is the right marriage they are on the electoral rolls to 2013 in Rochdale

But there is a Madeline A Wild born in Rochdale so that is probably the Rochdale marriiage

my mother obtained a copy of Madelines birth copy from stockport my mother was informed by them that Madeline was never adopted.
Madeline's birth mother is Violet Wild and her Grandmother was Hilda Tracey but she was not brought up by her grandmother.
Madeline was born in the Sunderland municiple hospital later she was placed in the Sunderland cottage homes.My mother was also placed in the cottage homes but later adopted.
not sure if the reason but in 1949 Violet Wild was jailed for 9 months for a run of robberies this was in the sunderland echo and northern echo titled sunderland hell cats go to jail "concentrated raid" so guessing this was why 3 of her children were place in care.

Have you tried the cottage home for her records. They can tell you when she was there and maybe if she was adopted

There's no other records of her other than her birth which points to a possible adoption

there is a marriage in rochdale for a madeline wild to a ronald jolly 1987 looked in electrol list found them but its only for 2002 the age would match for year madeline was born

There's a marriage of a Madeline Wild to an Andrew B K Nelson in Manchester 1970.
It looks as if he may have been born 1945, so similar age..


A possible son of that marriage born 1970 Manchester..
