Hi Paul, you can order BMDs from the GRO online at

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

If you have London ancestors or certain other areas it is always worth asking on the boards as some sites do have images of marriage and baptism records which can save you a bit of money on certs.

I have recently joined GR and have used the births, marriages and deaths databases to find records on my ancestors.

I now have details of the District, a Volume, page and line number of these records.

Am I able to obtain access to these records (eg. birth certificate) ? If so, please advise what the next step is ?
