Lots of American Wills have been added to Ancestry.

Not much info in the early wills but there is in the later ones.

it's siblings of my direct ones who ended up in the US. so I just have to sort out which of them I want to search for :-)

Not entirely sure how useful it will be eg

Name: Nathaniel Ensworth
Probate Place: Chenango, New York, USA
Inferred Death Place: New York, USA
Item Description: Wills, Vol W, 1881-1883

Entry reads
Ensworth, Nathaniel 475

Presumably 475 refers to a page number :-S

There are 2 Nathaniel Ensworth - the father died 1882, Jnr in 1856
(and they've switched me to the @@@@ new version!)

How to switch back to the 'old' site

To their credit, Ancestry are allowing members to trial the new site, but switch back to the old one. To switch back go to the home page, click on your log-in name at the top right, and then choose Old Ancestry from the dropdown menu.
