I am looking for the following family in 1891 census.
In 1901 they are living in Wakefield Yorkshire Civil Parish Wakefield. Annie GINNELLY B 1847 Ireland lodger Maggie 1874 Ireland Bridget 1878 b Wakefield Sara 1885 b Wakefield Kate 1881 b Wakefield Annie 1883 b Wakefield Richard 1898 b Wakefield Annie 1900 b Wakefield They are all listed as Lodgers,no relationship noted. Richard and Annie were children of Bridget who married in 1902 Wakefield. They lived with her in 1911census.
Census stated Annie b 1847 was married. I have tried various spellings but no luck.
Thank you

Anne Ginnelly mentioned in the record of Margaret Ginnelly Name Anne Ginnelly Gender Female Daughter Margaret Ginnelly Other information in the record of Margaret Ginnelly from Ireland Births and Baptisms Name Margaret Ginnelly Gender Female Birth Date 09 Apr 1869 Birthplace Mayo, Ireland Mother's Name Anne Ginnelly

Maureen ....
the reason there is no relationship shown between the Ginnelly's is because they are living in a very large rooming house. Any relationship shown on any census is to the Head of the house ............. in this case, that would be the Lodging House Keeper, who is Albert Gunstone, Miner and Lodging House Deputy
The address of the Lodging House is 2 Nelson Street, Wakefield
It would be interesting to know how many rooms there were in that house, or whether is was a place where beds were occupied by shift ............... 8 hours per person gave 3 shifts of sleepers per bed.

Thank you for your replies
I see that the children were alone in 1891 census surname Kinley. I tried to find Dominic and wife but cant see them.
Dominck died 1898 Wakefield.
I have found the family info in Ireland where Dominick married Honor Dixon in 1869.
There seems to be a lot of prison records for some of this family in Wakefield looks a colourful lot !!!

1911 10 Shawforths Yard Westgate Wakefield should read Spawforths Yard
Honor Kinley born Ireland widow age 60 Rag Sorter Kate Kinley 1887 Hawker.
No luck with 1891 but looking at prison sentences for them it would be my guess they are in one in 1891!!
