accessing British Newspapers

I have always had problems accessing the archives through any genealogy site. So what I now do. I make notes of those who I am looking, then every so often buy a weekend pass (really just a 24 or 48 hrs online pass) and do them all at once, and then once I have done my 'needed' searches spend many happy hours browsing.

A much more satisfactory was of doing these searches for me.

We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars, Oscar Wilde New avatar, my dad age about 3/4 months, could have been worse, it could have been the awful nude on a rug!!

Thanks for your response. When I first subscribed I had no difficulty 'viewing' the articles. It was only after a week or two it became a problem. I find that if I use google for a particular newspaper and use an article that I know it carries and directs me to genes reunited then I can access the 'view'. How is that for silly!

well, I wouldn't access the newspapers from GR!


I use the British Newspaper site itself ..........

:-(I have been purchasing credits and locating newspaper articles that add to the information about relatives. However, now I cannot access the 'view'. I have 45 credits and when I locate an article and press 'view' a screen appears from British Newspaper to sell me credits. Any ideas of where to go with this. It is hugely frustrating!! Especially when I am following the exact procedure I used with success in the first place.
