I am trying to trace the parents of Margaret Lorraine Morgan born 9th July 1925 believed Bedwellty District Wales, who on 26th December 1941 in Worksop District Nottinghamshire married Herbert Lowe born 17th June 1920 Stoke on Trent. Any information relating to Margaret's parents or grand-parents / ancestors would be appreciated.

Margaret's birth registration from freebmd shops her mothers maiden name as Taunton

not yet found a marriage

these people could very well be alive, unless you know definitely they are dead.

Thus you MUST be careful what you post.

It is unwise, for example, to post the exact birth date of a living person.

If you get the marriage cert to Herbert Lowe. It should name her father ,if known

I wonder if this might be the marriage and Taunton was Daunton misheard or mistranscribed? or vice versa

Her birth GRO record sheet is typed .i have found some records are mistyped and have been missed in checking over .

So it's more than likely hers is a mistype

Do you know if she had any siblings ?? If she did it would be worth looking for their births as acrosscheck. Hers is the only mmn Taunton listed but there are several with mmn Daunton

Thank you very much for the information so-far, which sounds quite sound.
It gives me a new line of enquiry, and it explains why I cannot find any marriage between Morgan and Taunton.

I have no other data on the family (Morgan) I have a great deal on her husband Herbert Lowe.

Joseph just in case that marriage does prove to be the right one, there is a female Morgan/Daunton birth in Bedwellty 1927 ( see freebmd.org.uk)
