Perhaps Mabel reverted to her maiden name after his death (or did they divorce?)

Was she known as both Sinclair and Holder when she was younger?

Perhaps whoever registered the death did not know which name she preferred to be known by so registered in all three names to be on the safe side.

I can only go by online records, but see no reason why she'd be known as Holder as a child. Her mother's death was reg as Sinclair.

May be separation and co-habitation was a reason? The obvious answer would be to buy the DC to see if the informant was related, but she's a fairly distant ancestor.

As there wasn't a burial/cremation under Leverington, tried Sinclair.

I had found an incoming passenger list in 1957 for a Robert Leverington with the same dob as the DC, travelling with a Mrs Winifred Leverington dob 24 Sep 1909. Their presumed place of work in Sutton, Surrey was the destination address.
It appears Robert H Leverington married her in 1947.
There’s a further marriage in Devon in 1970 – can’t spot a son in a reasonable time frame, with the same name, regardless of the mmn.

Without access to Aylesbury ER, it’s almost impossible to find out the first name for Mr Holder, if there was one. Mabel was living alone in Welling Kent showing 2002-2006 on the ER, with occupancy dating back to about 1991.

Oh well – one of life’s little mysteries!
