I am helping a person that are following her POWER family line in the UK to New Zealand.
We have a Denis/Dennis Wilfred POWER b. Dec Q 1876 in Walsall, married Prudence Hannah WOOLLEY in Dec Q1899 in Walsall.
Their children:
Thomas Wilfred POWER b. Mar Q 1901
Sidney Bailey POWER b. Sep Q 1904
Thomas never married but was engaged - he d. 8 Oct 1941 in Auckland New Zealand
His Fiance was Mary LAURIE. She died 22 Sep 1944 in Auckland New Zealand
Sidney married Mary Lucille Clara BARRETT in 1939 in New Zealand
She was b. 25 Dec 1891 in Sutherland NSW Australia, d. 8 Jul 1975 in Auckland New Zealand

Denis / Dennis and family came to New Zealand 1904 or after from when the last child Sidney was born.
Anyone knows of who Denis's parents were.
Any information of this family would be greatly appreciated.

Then you use that to determine whether the birth certificate you buy is the correct one.

I don't think there is any way round avoiding having to buy the 2 certificates.

It looks as though they might have emigrated about 1907 from this record. He is listed under Members Transferring During the Year. The only actual year date that I can find is in the transcript, where it says Dates 1907. There is no year shown on the page ..........

WOW thank you soooo much, I do have some of that info. I'll have to obsorb all this information that you all have posted on here, The given advise I will take on board and pass all this on to the person I'm helping.

Yes I have searched on Trees, there is one that I'm having contact with at the moment and able to swap notes.

We did keep coming up with a Denis R Power but keep ruling him out because of the R, could it be a typo error, the person that written it down miss heard or some other reason maybe.

If there is something different that may come up other from what is on here please let me know.
