I wonder if a fresh set of eyes could help find the birth of William John Jones born 2 june 1883 he states on the 1939 register,

1911 census says St Lukes his name down as William Thomas but that is him as with the right wife and address, carman army pensioner
What I know married Elizabeth Maud French 1903 st Stephens Haggerston London
father George Jones a porter

found on freebmd 1883 2 William John Jones born june qt 1 at Poplar and one at Islington.
found a William John Jones with a step father on 1891 and 1901 have ruled him out as he was a engineer,
have tried army records no luck.
hope this makes sense he died 1946.

The baptism is the wrong one says date of birth Feb

Address 7 sisters rd the same as 1891 census of the William John Jones I have discounted because of him being a engineer mine was not,.

there are 2 william john jones reg 1883 june one in poplar and one in islington

Trying to work out if one of them is the William John Jones I am looking for before sending for the certificate, on the 1911 census said he was born ST LUKES but that finished in 1869.

could be the one in islington as st luke is in middlesex
poplar is in essex area

When you goole all the addresses ie Brittania Street,Allerton Street (near Nile St) are in the same area as Myrtle Street where your William Thomas/John Jones is in 1911.

no luck as this one born 1887c other wise could have been the one.

On the 1891 census all the ages are wrong,but they appear to be the same family.So therefore I don't think William would have been born in 1887.
Shame I can't find a baptism for him.

Back to Emily Celia Jones and her marriage to Daniel William Dutton,,could you compare signature of Emily on it to the one on William and Elizabeth Maud French record.

had a look at the photo copy of the marriage cert I have looks like it been hand written out by some one in the registry office as all hand writing the same, was sent for in 2007.

Have got the the birth certificate for William Thomas Jones father George mother Hannah but date of birth is 24th july 1883
