I don't know what this means, but the following is written in the "comments" column to the left of James' entry on the image of the Register.

It's a column where they put notes such as "ARP Warden", "Home Guard", etc

Written for James ...........

Re Reg RMA 3790 Ref B49

I'm not certain that it is B49 at the end, that's the closest I decipher

Maybe someone else knows what the letters mean

The RMA is possibly the abbreviation for Nottinghamshire. Not sure about the other letters.

googled the letters and numbers but did not find anything

so really dont know
