Thanks anyway ArgyllGran
The Prosser side was by marriage into William Cromarty family,he was uncle to the young Pilot.
Family has been traced and interviewed on the local radio today hopefully some family members are going to be able to attend the burial service of the men on 27th in Berlin.

If Mary's brother Wynford, mentioned in her obituary, married in 1927, then there appear to be Prosser descendants, probably in Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire, but as it's too late now to contact them in time for the ceremony, I won't bother sending you details.

Thanks for all your help
Just for information John D S Cromarty was a first cousin of a young Air Pilot Officer also called John Cromarty born Liverpool, whose plane was brought down over Germany in 1942, he was 22yrs old. The plane was found in 1970's and now that all the crew airmen have been identified the MOD are holding a ceremony in Berlin next week, they were searching for family of the crew.
Iam not related to the family just helped in locating family members here in England.

It looks like all the Vernon streets have been renamed at some point since then
