They should apply to social services/adoption agency to access their adoption file. That might give more info about their birth family. |

Hi Many thanks but we don't share the same father. Before our parents passed we found dead out they were adopted the eldest two have same mother and father and the youngest has a differentry dad. We know there birth names and they have a surname of mother but father isn't listed. They want to find to find their history and don't know how to help. Any help would be brilliant. We know their was anot her bon born end of 1965. The mother came from Ireland late 1950s and lived in Leicester. We have know family that can help. |

It sounds as if you share a father rather than a mother? Unless your father acknowledged paternity and permitted his name to appear on the certificate, there is only a slight chance that you can find them. |

I've found birth certificate for one of my brothers who were adopted as babies, but no luck on the other two. Any ideas how to find out about the birth mother and details for the other two |
