I have managed to find out that William Waldron was born 1875 and that his mother was called Eliza, she was a widow in the 1891 census, both of them were servants in Handley, Dorset. I have ordered a copy of the marriage certificate for William Waldron and Jeanette Greaves who married 1906 so will be able to get something more concrete soon.

I'm wondering what the best way is to find out about Eliza, his mother? She was born in Lifton, Devon about 1853. However I don't have a maiden name - is this easy to find? I'm keen to find out what I can as soon as possible.

Cycle Reflector Missing.
“lt came off this morning" William Waldron, a platelayer, of Melton Mowbray, told P.c. Webster. who found he was riding a pedal cycle without a rear light or reflector on the Dalby-road, Melton on November 21st. The officer told the Melton Bench on Tuesday there was no sign of a reflector having recently been on the cycle. Defendant was ordered to pay 5s.

Birth year a bit out but he may have knocked a few years off his age as his wife was a bit younger than him.

I'm trying to find out about William Waldron b. 1878 in Tavistock, Devon. He is my g.g.grandad and I'm trying to find out his parents and back. He married Jeanette Greaves in 1906 in Eastbourne. They moved to Leicestershire and in the 1911 census were in Kirby Bellars. Any information anyone has would be brilliant. I've hit a wall with this one now. Thanks.
