Wonder if anyone can help with this mystery.
John Michael Scholer married Lucie Sydney Mills on 29.7.1915.
Her age was given as 31. (born 1884)
Her address was 93 Tufnell Park Road, Islington.
Her father - Peter Mills a Civil Engineer
Witnesses: Kate Allery and V Allery.

Now, 1911 census and Lucie Mills is at 93 Tufnell Park Road - AGE 37 ! and born 1874, Ponders End, Middlesex. At the same address are the Allerys.

I cannot find a birth record for Lucie, or a census entry before 1911 - and no trace of her father.

I've tried every variation I can think of including Sydney as a surname (mother's maiden name possibly) but to no avail. Really beginning to wonder if Lucie Mills was her real name.

On a side note JMS changed his surname to Dickson (mother's maiden name) during WW1 and Lucie became Lucie Dickson, died 1952.

Any suggestions?
