I'm not sure if there is a connection with edward f Byrne states he was a policeman from holway I know there were two policeman in the family one being the father of Edward Byrne .John Byrne and his brother Peter both living in Liverpool 1891-1901

Hi some answers for you on the 1940 marriage certificate for James was Byrne it states his father is deceased and his name was John Andrew I know that my grandfather edward died in 1967. His wife llium died in 1922 age 32 Stanhope street. This is a real mystery. On James William Bryne thanks people

On the 1940 marriage certificate who did James list as his father? It's just that I don't see another James W Byrne born in 1914.

Can't see James on the 1939 register- he's not with his father. Not sure where his mother is.

Hi I got 1912 from ancestry posted by David bullark.but yes it is wtong it was 1914, born in Paddington London muddy. Living at 56 Stanhope street his father Edward I think James second name came from his grandfather William delve..so weather James never used James that might be reason I can't find his death of marriage. The James that went to Canada was proven to be of no relation sad to say.so I'm stuck at the moment .the tree for delve/ byrne can be found just Google delve/ Byrne both trees are on there .regards phill
