	Well the mariage cert should name his father if known Marriages Mar 1874 Perkins Ellen Exeter 5b 147 WILSON William Exeter. 5b. 147

	Quite a lot of William Wilsons born in Scotland around the same time To identify him on the census pre marriage you need his dads name from the marriage cert
