There's no hadland / batty births from 1939 until after the 1944 marriage then only the two births

Why not get the birth cert. it's over 50 years old so can be got with the gro ref

Puzzled how you know her grandfather is Walter Hadland

Not seeing a marriage Hadland/Bastock

Ok, I see her tree on Ancestry. You may have more luck if you look at her Bastock relatives.

Your common ancestors are Walter Hadland and Maud(e) Eleanor Grubb.

These were the parents of Walter Leonard Hadland 1922 in your opening post.

However, she is descended from Walter Leonard's brother, Hubert.

I'm now hoping you can work out her parents. Please don't post anymore details- if you are still not sure, please send me a private message.
