If you have a seperate Tree on your computer (a commercial one or free one)you could export a Gedcom of the messed up tree to that-make any corrections and then export the corrected one back to GR (I think :-S) that would work!

If you export it as a GEDCOM now, it will only be the messed up version.

You can't personally reset your tree to the way it was on an earlier date. I don't know if GR support can or not - I suspect not.

Can't you just delete and/or correct individual entries to restore what you had before?

Without knowing what you did that was so disastrous, it's hard to advise.

thank you very much all I have tried Genesreunited, but they don't seem to understand my problem. I will try the tree as a GEDCOM

In future before you make a big change you should export your tree as a GEDCOM, then if it goes wrong you can import that GEDCOM which should overwrite the current tree. I haven't tried that myself though.

Hi, I've made a right mess of my tree today trying to save a problem. Is there any way I can reset it to read as it did yesterday?
