If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, it gives the contact details for the Consular Directorate, I think they would be able to advise.

I'm sorry for your loss Nicki.

"Any death of a British citizen abroad usually results in a notification being sent to the relevant British Consul or the UK High Commission, which will allow you to find their details within these GRO consular indices."

That's from the records on FMP "British Nationals Died Overseas 1818-2005"

It's possible that in years to come more recent records will be transcribed?

My husband died in October 2016 aged 56 whilst we were on holiday in St Kitts & Nevis.

I have a St Kitts & Nevis death certificate which I have used to deal with everything practical.

Is there a system where I can have his death logged with the GRO so that in years to come if anyone is searching for him for family research reasons they can find his details?
