I am looking for information on my grandfather Reginald Ambrose Eckersley. youngest child of Holland Eckersley, and Anne Fearney from Lancashire. I would like to know if anyone has information on when my grandfather left England for Canada, and also what ship he was on, or port he left from. Year just guessing, might have been 1905.

Wow, thanks so much for the information, yes, you have the correct person, we have never been able to find how our grandparents met, Fanny Amez-Droz was from Switzerland, and Reginald Eckersley, from Ulverston England. They did marry in Sapperton New Westminster Canada.

I will start checking the information on the ship name you mentioned. You really know how to get information fast.
