Hi. I am trying to look at a birth record from Ireland for a Timothy O'Brien. The info I have is that the record is on FHL film number 101231. I can't find anywhere to access this record other than a trip to Salt Lake City. Can anyone help? :-) |

Which of the fifteen Timothy O'Briens on that film is the one you're interested in? |

There are some Irish births on Findmypast. What year was he born and where? |

This birth would be in the right time frame for the date of birth given one one of your previous threads (but there may be others) :- |

The 1931 birth with the FHL film number, which comes up on Ancestry and FS, doesn't appear on IrishGenealogy. |

Hi Kath, Thanks for that. Its a shame they don't give the mothers first name as I am trying to pin this Timothy to one of 6 O'Mahoney sisters? |

Unfortunately you have to buy the certificate - as ArgyllGran has given a link above. |

Linda - if you only need the b.cert for genealogical purposes, then a cheaper option is to buy an uncertified copy using the URL AG gave above. |

Thanks All. I have seen the record and it is not the one I was hoping for. I am looking at the information provided by rootgatherer as those names are of interest. |
