Just to correct something that you said, Kath, about receiving a photo copy of the will as it was written. I didn't get that, I got a typewritten copy of the will. I was so disappointed, I wanted to see my gt. grandfather's signature (the guy on my avatar). |

Make sure there is a will. If the probate mentions administration then there probably isn't a will and there will not be much more than is in the probate index. |

That all depends on what the person said in the will. You will get the names of the executors and the names of anyone who was a beneficiary of the will. If there was property left you should get the address of the property. |
