Just had a thought.

A number of years ago I’d signed up for our digital county library service. The aim was to ‘borrow’ online books. To be honest, it seemed too confusing but one thing I’d noticed was that The Times Archive was included.

Although it may have been dropped due to austerity etc, might other libraries either online or via their terminals still have access? I’d looked at ours but needed to sign in to see what was available. Too much of a hassle on this lovely day ;-)

Thank you for your continued assistance. I am just interested in seeing what the notice says. I do have access to the Probate site. Christina was married to Andrew Philip More Boyle who in his later life was an Author and in one of his books he helped expose Anthony Blunt as a Spy. This was in the days when Margaret Thatcher was in power. He also started in 1965 a radio programme called The World at One. After Christina died Andrew re married.
