On an earlier thread of mine on Chat a couple of people said they didn't know of family history shows in the South East.

I've just had an email to update on this one at Sandown Park in September :

The Family History Show


Due to the sell out success of last year’s London show, this year there will be twice the space as The Family History Show, London takes over Sandown Park's Surrey Hall. With its large catering areas, two separate free lecture theatres, new features and displays, you’re sure to enjoy the day.

New this year will be our Free ‘Ask the Experts ’ area, there to answer your questions on Dating Photographs, Medals, Military Service and Research Problems. So don't forget to bring you ancestors' medals, records and photos along!

Our new second lecture area will have Free Talks given by various expert independent speakers including Dick Eastman, Photo Dating Expert and Fashion Historian Jayne Shrimpton and others yet to be confirmed.

With over 100 tables already booked, space is filling up fast! If you or anyone you know are interested in exhibiting please contact [email protected]

We are making The Family History Show London an affordable event to attend with low cost entry and free talks. There is free on site parking and we will be running a free shuttle bus from the local train station. Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment and buy one get one half price!
