what have they done now
my ggg grandfather was illegitimate
now when i want to open the profile of surrounding ancesters i get a box pop up saying they may have found a potential father for my ill. grandfather and i can't open the profile page

anybody else getting this problem

This is something that's happening on the Ancestry website recently. Although I haven't been on the site in the last day, there are numerous comments on their facebook page.
Apparently its supposed to be part of their site 'improvements'. If there's no father listed on his BC or MC, how the heck can they come up with a biological father? Have they developed a time machine & gone back to observe his conception?

Perhaps they're hoping more people will pay for their DNA test.

I hate it when they change things as my old brain dos'nt take things in like it used to. You have to learn how to use the site all over again and sometimes it takes ages whereas you could have done it in a tick the old way. :-|
