Unless the child was baptised before it died and the mother named the father on the baptism certificate then I don't think you will ever know whether or not the subsequent husband was the father. |

Hi can anyone please advise regarding a possible illegitimate birth where the child did not survive. Mother subsequently married and husband may have been the father. I would rather not give names at present as this is a sensitive subject for the family concerned. I hope this makes sense. |
