Am wondering what date the electoral rolls started, please?

I've looked on Ancestry. Is there anywhere else to find exact dates please?

Many thanks. :-)

Online they start at 2002

Before then they are at the main library for the areas

Don’t forget through that people have been able to opt out of the public ones in recent yaers

Please clarify what you are asking

If you mean when were they first compiled, the answer is 1832

Have you googled for info?

That's the national UK Electoral Register which is online from 2002.

But there are lots of earlier records online from individual towns or areas.

For instance, Glasgow's Register of Electors is online from 1857 to 1962.
London's Electoral Register is online from 1832-1965;
Edinburgh from 1832-1966;
Liverpool from 1832 to 1970;
West Yorkshire from 1840 to 1962

to name but a few.
