When did you look for a funeral? There's a probate record for him in 1981 saying he died in March 1980, but the funeral and issuing of the death certificate would be months later. |

There is only one death registered in Liverpool in 1980 which was of a man born 23rd March1910. Would a 70-year-old have been working in those days? |

My aunt left her body to medical science and, several months later, after the students had finished, she was tidied up and returned to the family for burial. |

UNCLE-William Casey, killed accidently, at work. 1980, Inquest and autopsy took place. Death certificate issued. Disposal of his remains, either never recorded , OR, were removed illegally. Liverpool Record office , say they are mystyfied. Pages missing from registry. Family member's say they know nothing of it. what are the legal requirements for allowing a body to be used for medical research? Could there be financial inducement ? AND---what would become of ANY remains, of the deceased in those circumstances? |
