Very sorry to get on the net at last ,to find that one of the main lights on the Wattlers thread has gone out.

A very sad day today for those of us who knew Our Purple Printheth Lew who bravely suffered a dreadful illness. Special thoughts for her beloved husband Terry, and hugs to all the Wattlers, some of whom have put aside their normal lives for the past few weeks to spend time with Lew.
Rest in Peace beautiful lady, no more pain, ..Hz

what a very sad day for all the wattlers and for Lews family, a wonderfully warm generous, caring woman who loved and lived life to the full.

sadly missed by all who knew her...

Hi everyone. Just popping in to say how sad it is to learn of Lewella's passing. She helped me with some of my Oz queries on behalf of others and will be missed, but not just for that, of course.

My condolences to you all on the loss of your dear Lew - I know she meant a great deal to you all. My condolences also to Lew's family.

I can only reiterate the sentiments that have gone before me and add that I am sorry I did not know her, she sounds a lovely lady and I can see she will be sorely missed to be taken from us at such a young age.

Feeling very empty with the loss of our lovely Lewella..Spent time with her in her last week, and she was Lewella to the end with little bits of humour popping out at the time least expected.
She was a boooootiful lady and I will miss her greatly..

Wander if she is making up a new batch of purple pills to dish out to the Angels..wouldnt put it past her....luv ya Lew..xxxxx

Wattlers all say thank you for coming in to talk about our lovely Lew, always full of fun and lip but always there in any way she could be. A person like Lew comes our way only once, intensely private but always there with care concern and a big funny quip if we needed one :)
