Marilyn i only found out about Great grandfather Absalom Lee when someone emailed from the DFHS and said she had been going through the Honiton Newpaper and as it was an unusal name remembered she had seen it in the DFHS.Mag and emailed it. I was so surprised as he worked on a farm and I could not understand how he sold it without having a pub. but when you look £5 was a lot of money in 1871 my Grandmother Elizabeth Ackland must have been so worried she was expecting their child that year

Hi Rita, - It did look a tad complicated, didn't it. I copied and pasted the instructions into a word doc, so I can print it out and refer to it as I go along!!

Thats exactly what I have done or rather Hubby !!

And it worked.

So Rita copy the instructions first and take your time with the rest ..

I must admit hubby did most of it !

Marilyn it is the paste I am not sure how to do. you see being old I am well behind with all this computer stuff.

I did manage to put a few more ancestors on the tree this afternoon i have now got 605 listed and a lot more to go on.

Oh, that's nice. I rather like whippets too!! My brother has a gorgeous one named Lady.
My middle name is Dawn but my family used to say it was Dormouse - on account of I could curl up in a ball and drop off to sleep at the drop of a hat....

I can't remember if I mentioned that on Sunday I went back to M&S with a skirt (which was too big) & came back with another skirt & a pair of Trousers. I was chuffed that I can fit into a size 12 now(I used to be an 16/18)!!!!

Oh, I could bore everyone to death about Whippets(& probably do sometimes) or cows!!! LOL
