Morning Stephen Huia and Shelly
Stephen please don't leave. I have just paid up for a year again. Only really check in on chat as don't seem to have time for research at the moment.

Waiting for the gas board this morning as we have a leak at the top of the hot water cylinder. So no hot water no heating and the risk if it leaks rather than seeps of a very wet kitchen ceiling !!! Oh well wait and see.

Have a nice day everyone. Damp here so stuck indoors too.

Evening all

I hope everyone is keeping well, pleased that you are feeling better Marilyn, your daffs look very pretty.

I've renewed my membership too so I'm still here.

Went to work in the shop today, I don't usually work on Sunday but a few people are on holiday so I was asked if I would do it, the extra money will be useful.

Love to all <3

Hello Linda. I am here. Our weather is going to be very wet and windy tonight and tomorrow morning. I hope it clears up before midday as I am working in the Hospice shop tomorrow. Not that I get wet in the shop (although there was a leak a week ago), but getting out of my vehicle and grabbing all the bags I want to take in and locking the door then dashing in in the rain is not something I enjoy.

I know Stephen is away.
I guess Marilyn is still recovering
But is anyone else out and about?
Went to see Sebastian yesterday, not quite walking but oh soooo near. Took 2 more jumpers I had made him. Started another bigger one now for when it gets cooler again................... oh is that later this week?
Forecast is good for tomorrow, hopefully.
Having friends to dinner later today. Maybe youngest daughter tomorrow.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone

A Chuckle for the day.......worth a read

An Atheist and a Bear

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that evolution had created.

"What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!", he said to himself. As he was walking along the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. When he turned to see what the cause was, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charging right towards him. He ran as fast as he could. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing, He ran even faster, crying in fear. He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer. His heart was pounding and he tried to run even faster. He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up, but saw the bear right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.

At that moment, the Atheist cried out ........."Oh my God!...."

Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent. Even the river stopped moving.

As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky, "You deny my existence for all of these years; teach others I don''t exist; and even credit creation to a cosmic accident. Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"

The atheist looked directly into the light "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask You to treat me as Christian now, but perhaps could you make the bear a Christian?"

"Very well," said the voice.

The light went out. The river ran again. And the sounds of the forest resumed.

And then the bear dropped his right paw ..... brought both paws together...bowed his head and spoke:.....

"Lord, for this food which I am about to receive, I am truly thankful."

Hi all

Sorry not been on but a lot going on in my up side down life at the mo.

Well lost at tribunal in March was told that I have to go to work, went to sign on to be told I am not fit to go to work. So wouldn't let me sign on. So I have put in a new claim for ESA in which I am still waiting for the next form to get here. In the mean while I am living on £20 a week which is my DLA, My rent and council tax were stopped, have been to see them and they looking into it. I have my local MP looking into it all now as its getting me down. My doctor has been no help at all. And cant find another doctor near for me to go to.

In the mean time my son Duane has had his eye op so at the moment cant see very well as he is almost blind in other eye. He cant go back to work for up to 9mts as that's when his sight should be back and he can have stitches out. He is very depressed as he cant handle people doing thing for him, and he cant drive. Also his lazy girlfriend had knee op over 4mts ago and still sitting on her bum. So my so is looking after the twins 19mts and son almost 4. I am doing best I can to help but not easy as live 3 buses away.

Teri hasn't been to well and I have had to help her with Caitlin, Caitlin is almost at the stage she will get help at hospital. Having big problems with her going to school as teatcher isn't listening to what we are telling them so having ago at Caitlin all the time.

Well I will be back over weekend as going over to help Teri and Duane. So wil pop in when I can. I still look in.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to everyone
Take care
A man was walking on the beach one day and he found a bottle half buried in the sand.
He decided to open it. Inside was a genie.
The genie said,” I will grant you three wishes and three wishes only."
The man thought about his first wish and decided,
“I want 1 million pounds transferred to a Swiss bank account. POOF! His wish was granted
Next he wished for a Ferrari red in colour. POOF! There was the car sitting in front of him.
He asked for his final wish,........ " I wish I was irresistible to women."
POOF! .............He turned into a box of chocolates.
A Wee Chuckle for the day
A city slicker moves to the country and decides he’s going to take up farming.
He heads to the local co-op and tells the man, “Give me a hundred baby chickens.”
The co-op man complies.
A week later the man returns and says, “Give me two hundred baby chickens.”
The co-op man complies.
Again, a week later the man returns. This time he says, “Give me five-hundred baby chickens.”
“Wow! The co-op man replies “You must really be doing well!”
“Naw,” said the man with a sigh...........
“I’m either planting them too deep or too far apart!”
