That sounds a lovely outing YG, I am getting out of the 4 walls tomorrow as I am going to the Belfry for the morning. Seeing as the Gooners are not back to school until Wednesday they are coming here tomorrow so I will take either one or both with me. Baby boy is delivering them before work and picking them up on his way home.It will be nice to see them as we have not been together since Boxing Day. :-D

I hope you didn't use it all at once LG. :-D

I took down the outside lights this morning as it was a beautiful mild day with the sun shining and blue sky!!

I started on the tree whilst waiting for M to bring Daisy, but then she phoned and said they had decided to take them all for a walk and then have some fish'n'chips and invited me to go. It was a lovely afternoon out in Clumber Park with tea and scones and a walk by the river, then we had fish'n'chips on the way home.

I have, stripped the tree ad put everything else away, so will have to take the tree apart tomorrow. It should be a quiet working day as there are no e -mails waiting, so can find time to do it during the day and have a good vacuum round in the lounge.

LG, pleased to hear that you have more energy today. It sounds as though you are on the mend at last :-) :-)

Evening all, our Christmas went back in the box yesterday :-D :-D :-D. I actually found some energy today and stripped and remade the bed :-0 :-D :-D

Our decorations will probably go back in the attic tomorrow, or at least back in the boxes.

are back on track work ,busy work .I am just making my tea it has suddenly got cold here tonight after quite a mild spell .
I put the tree away yesterday as cleo had taken all the bottom stuff off I got fed up redoing it.
My cards are still up as I am still getting them in the post

I watched the fireworks then straight to bed. I was very impressed with them this year. There were some going off over the road, but they had more or less finished by the time I settled down, and like ZZzzz, that is one advantage for me having hearing aids!!

Yeah I can guess what the welcome consisted of :-D :-D :-D :-D I had taken my hearing aids out but still heard some.

It is this covid thing that has halted a lot of things, now it is a health thing I have that is stopping me going places but it won't stop me for long after the op.

I really hope so, ZZzzz. It has been too long since we last met up.

Looking at the time now, I think I will be up for the next half hour or so! There's no point going to bed now so I think I will toast the new year with a mug of hot chocolate :-D :-D

It could even be the year we all get to meet and have a natter :-D :-D
