Morning all, a little better today but still as weak as kittens :-D :-D. It is pouring with rain but we have to venture out on a food shop soon. See you all later :-D

Little and often is best I think, how are you both now?

We have both managed little odd jobs today by sitting down between each one. :-D :-D. We still have loads to do but hey ho they will have to wait

I dread getting that, hope not to but if one or both of us do then we will be out of action for the duration and no one to check on us to see how we are, we don't feel sorry for ourselves though we will just plod on and do what we can :-D.

You're lucky you don't have it ;-). It has well and truly wiped us out and OH must be bad if he stays in bed all day as he has never done that in all the years we have been together

I know what that feels like, we just got back from local shopping and picking up prescriptions and are both absolutely shattered and we don't have this flu bug thing that is going round.

We are still really rough so no whizzing anywhere for us. I did have to go up the local shop for cat food as we had run out. We will be shopping tomorrow if we have the energy :-D

Evening all, I have had a good day today health wise and getting jobs done, which is good because we go out local last minute shopping tomorrow (maybe) I've lost track of things for the moment. :-)

I had a lovely visit from an colleague today. She always comes to see me at Christmas and we have a good catch up :-) This afternoon I nipped to pick up the items for the cats, got all the booze that I needed for gifts and finished another couple of jobs, so now it is just the fresh food and getting the car washed!! Two days left to work as I have booked leave for Friday :-) :-)

just looking in I have a grumpy tortie here ,I have sanded down the scratched areas and put oil on them as its neutral wood .so its sulking
I have a walking toddler on boxing day and did not want to have splinters .

Well I think it is because hubby finds a lot of things difficult to deal with now so I'm doing more and starting earlier.

I thought my list has reduced this year, but it seems to have expanded!! I still have some wine and beer to get for gifts, the food shop and a couple of things for the family pets!! Its a good job that it is quiet at work, as it gives me an opportunity to nip out for a bit longer at lunchtime!!

It was a very early wake up session this morning, as I couldn't sleep, so I am off to bed now before I fall asleep on the sofa :-D :-D

I find it weird that hubby and I are done ( I think ) and things are so calm in the house as far as Christmas goes anyway. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Much milder today and the ground is back to being soft and stodgy. Dirty shoes and boots now when I walk on the grass to fill the bird feeders!!

I'm still running around like a headless chicken after work trying to get last minute bits and pieces. I was hoping to have two weeks relaxation before the big day other than fresh food, but it didn't happen :-D :-D
