ZZzzz, I do as little ironing as possible. I can't believe how much how I used to have to do!!

It's just a quick visit tonight as it was another hectic day following a disburbed night. I also need to shower before bedtime!! Four days to go and still lots to do so it will be a tough week but I will be happy once it is done.

Maz, it certainly won't mean any extra salary even though I am saving them money by doing the final clean up this week rather than paying contractors. I have decided that I am a complete mug :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

I keep saying to myself, do the ironing as it crops up but I don't listen to myself.

Afternoon both, I have been doing some notices and posters for the Society exhibition at the weekend. All printed off, laminated and in my bag ready to go to the Belfry tomorrow.
We have a talk this evening so I might be on a bit late :-D

Hello all, we had a lot of thunder and lightening but I didn't hear the thunder or the rain also I'm jut a little bit tired and doing some ironing. :-\

YG i hope they remember all the work you have done ,
I have just had 30 mins in the garden everything is dying back so early this year
Then I have just added a few paragraphs to a grant application
now its tea time !!!!

I wish, LG :-0 :-0 :-0 Let's see what happens with the energy crisis this winter, then I may consider reducing my hours.

It is about time you could retire as you have been such a busy lass :-D

It will be crazy here from 7.30am and there are roadworks that will make it twice as bad as normal!! Race week is on as well from Wednesday to Saturday but I am hoping to get away from the office on time so that I miss the worst of it. Roadworks are all over the place at the moment in my area!

It will be a treat to be at home again and able to stay put!! Its cost me a lot more in petrol this last few weeks, but oh joy, I can claim it back for this week as our contracts have changed now :-D :-D I'll be able to retire :-D :-D :-D :-D

I thought you might have her, I know she will be welcome company for you. The roads will be busy here tomorrow as our kids start back tomorrow too. It shouldn't affect us though unless we have to go out early for an appointment. The only early one we have is at the end of the month to drop the car off for it's first service.

Evening ZZzzz. It's good to be back and feeling somewhat better than I was. I have a week off coming up next week, although not total relaxation as I have a mountain of unmentionables to catch up on and am having to take youngest granddaughter to work every morning and pick her up in the evening to take home as Mum and Dad are away :-|

The children are all back at school tomorrow so the traffic is going to be horrendous again. That has been one good thing of the last few weeks!! A 7 minute drive to work that will now be around 30 mins :-D :-D

LG, yes i have got fur for the week and she will be looking forward to it. Lots of cuddles and some walks won't do either of us any harm :-) :-) :-)

Everyone is going off for a change of scenery!! V is in Cyprus again, R & M are off on a cruise to Norway next weekend, then off to Disneyland for a week 3 weeks later with C! I feel like Cinderella :-( :-(

I had to push hard as the deadline was really tight, LG. We are only just getting the place emptied in time. A couple of charities are coming in this week to pick up some of the furniture and other bits and pieces. The main lot has been moved to Northampton where they are setting up a new registered office (with hardly any staff!!) :-D :-D

Thank goodness it is nearly done YG, you have pushed yourself too hard :-(. It is lovely to have you back and I hope you enjoy your weeks break. We are away next week and so looking forward to it

I am still alive .......... just about. Heading into the last few days this week, then all is done, the office will be closed for ever and I will on a week's leave before returning to home working permanently.

To cut a long story short, apart from three departments who cleared their own files, drawers etc, all the remaining departments to have been left to me working on my own to do. I can't tell you how many boxes of old files I have carried to the compound. It has been one hell of a job and totally exhausted me. Lots of back pain, early nights and early starts, but almost there now :-)

Lovely to see you .you can tell the workers on ere lol cos these two are on in the day. .
I am just looking in quickly while my eyes are recovering from a laser procedure . The local diggers have been nicked so I suspect they are under the patios again .
