No to many cars parked there probably, I wouldn't be able to sit there because I can't get down that low and if I did it would be very unladylike to get back up. :-(

I was always outside no matter what the weather was,making dens, playing football and cricket in the road outside or sitting on the kerb playing marbles. I wouldn't sit on that roadway now though :-0 :-0

Me too, coats and blankets on the bed, only one room heated, I don't remember feeling cold though, we still went outside to play.

I will be too, I was born in the age of no central heating,dryers etc :-D. I can remember the frost on the inside of my bedroom windows

Also doing it this year because of the fuel extortion.
I think us "oldies" can cope better than some youngsters.

I used it for towels and bedding but the rest went on the airer unless it was something I needed urgently

I'm a smart arse, last winter I didn't use the tumbler at all, I took the plug off so I wouldn't be tempted it took overnight for the clothes to dry and into the next day for bedding.

Mine ended up in the dryer and the airer. I only put the thick towels in the dryer to cut the electric use.

Oh we haven't had any rain today and the clothes dried enough for me to put them on the clothes horse to air out to put away later. :-)

We had lunch out as always in town. Got the laundry done and on the line, it was almost dry when it p****d down

Had a good day considering I was with hubby :-D :-D :-D :-D, donated two bin bags of clothes and stuff to Sue Ryder shop and I had a hair cut, he bought sandwiches and cake for lunch, jobs a good un. :-D

Hello all, one of my Dads sayings was " it makes you want to through the whole house up the chimney " when things went wrong or didn't go accord to plan, well that's how things are here at the moment and we don't have a chimney now.

Eyes have just started to clear today so been on here a little while ,
The laser was on both eyes its weird its like popping candy sensation with a little pain
I have two lots of drops for a few days
I have just whizzed over the grass as we are supposed to be on our last dry day .
I am off now until Sunday so just catching up with my self lol
