Hellooo are we okay its supposed to be the last of the heat here today ,
I was working until 11.00pm last night ,we went to Kynren which as always was fantastic .
Today I am chilling out a bit as well as doing some basic chores I need to do some cleaning but it can wait until I get back tomorrow afternoon .I have a basic snack in the oven for froggy due in shortly .
Pressure is on as we are away from Friday .Quite a bit to pack and organise though

I have a suspicion that he was a railway worker so he could have been anywhere in the country. I will have another look for him tomorrow as I am starting to nod and need to try and get some sleep. I will see you tomorrow so nite nite sleep well if the heat allows ;-) :-D <3

Maybe he emigrated but that wouldn't be easy to find I think.

I haven't for the last bloke I was looking for .I found his birth,his parents and sister but lost him after 1949 :-|

But they didn't reckon on how good we are with our JCBs did they so we get the last laugh....eventually.

I bet they do and I bet these folk I am trying to look up for the archive are too.

I'm sure they laugh at us from above watching us go round in circles.

It is surprising how many different ones we get :-|

I know what you mean, you think you have a normal surname til someone can't spell.

That is often the case I think. My maiden name has had some very strange spellings and OH's are even worse even to this day

I suppose a lot of misspellings are due to the fact that some couldn't read or write was down to the one registering the event.

Our lot are always changing the spelling just to keep me on my toes. The ones I am researching for the archive come from families with many branches of the same name :-S :-S

That is what happens with me, there are various ways the surname was spelt but I got there in the end, my grandfathers surname was spelt 3 different ways on his marriage certificate.

Oh well done you. I am having a break from my tree as they were starting to addle my brain :-D

I have at last got a result for an ancestor born 1765 yay whoop whoop.

I have been outside and picked a huge bowl of cherry tomatoes and ate quite a few while I was doing it :-D :-D. It is quite cool in the garden now but I am sat indoors now with my JCB digging for servicemen for the Archive records

No cooking is always good :-D.
It has cooled down a bit now so I'm digging with my JCB.
