No it isn't as there are conflicting bits of info. The welsh apparently used I instead of J which makes sense back in our Ancestors but then another source says Jones was and English name :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S |

Well here is a bit of useless or not info, Jones is a popular surname in Wales but the letter J isn't in the Welsh alphabet. |
