We have to do the food shop tomorrow after WW

A very good day for you two then, I went to the local village shop for milk etc and they were better stocked than the big Sainsbury about 5 miles away. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Best you do ;-) :-D :-D :-D.What have you been up to today. I had a good morning as I found 3 really nice shirts in a charity shop and 3 pairs of half price PJs in a store. To cap the morning off we had our new footie shirts arrive in the post :-D :-D :-D

Oh no we best behave ourselves then like what we normally do. he he.

Afternoon all, I can see you all better now as my specs have been sorted :-D :-D

I have just finished watering the garden and we now have a lovely breeze blowing albeit a warm one. I was very tempted to turn the hose on myself :-D :-D :-D

Yes yummy indeed but they don't cool me down :-|

I have just had an ice cold blackcurrant drink,yummy :-D :-D

And have a wash and shave, men have a shave that is.
Talking of brew I'm gonna have a V&T, not hot water needed for that. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Same here we have both electric and gas kettles so at least we can brew up :-D :-D :-D

We do however have camping gas cookers etc so will be ok and able to boil water for neighbours to have a brew.

We are fortunate here too, no power failiers, most people on this estate are all electric, we are too, so everything crossed it doesn't fail.

Oh dear ZZzzz, this heat is causing a lot of problems. Baby boy rang to see how we were coping with it and he said the town had a power cut so he couldn't finish his work so got sent home early. Fortunately we have no problems with it where we are as we could not be using the fan :-0

Well not quite over with, got to said shop, fridges and freezers broken so got what I could and finish at a different shop tomorrow, it happened locally too, it's the heat apparently.

I decided to go shopping now cos I know I won't want to be bothered later and it gets it over with for a few days.

I am just recovering from a very hot bus ride home ,why is bus heating on I asked my son /
his reply was stop complaining about the buses its not my garage ,after the out burst the heating is a tap on the back of bus only fitters can touch .So I put on the website can the heating be switched off before leaving the garage
He is in line to become team leader at his garage ,it wont keep me quiet when they dont turn up lol

39 here and no way am I going anywhere :-D.If I were you I would wait until later

35 degrees here at the moment, so the question is do I go shopping now or wait til 7 ish when it is supposed to be cooler.

Afternoon all, what a scorcher :-| :-| :-|. We are indoors with all doors,windows and curtains shut which has kept us a bit cooler. We do have big fan on which helps too.

Ah ha that's why I don't need to then, you are doing it for me ;-)
