Pup's just wandered in, she's smelling the air. Gone off for a drink, run back and now sitting next to me. She's too tired to complain. ;-)

The Banner of Freedom

Samoa, arise and raise your banner that is your crown !
Oh ! see and behold the stars on the waving banner !
They are a sign that Samoa is able to lead.
Oh ! Samoa, hold fast
Your freedom for ever !
Do not be afraid; as you are founded on God ;
Our treasured precious liberty.
Samoa, arise and wave
Your banner that is your crown!

Could have 3 out of the 4 home countries through. Still think it'll be either New Zealand or Australia who'll win the cup.

Going to stick my head under a pillow as news isn't good again today. It's supposed to be a good day, everyone please read my script. It should be nice weather and everyone happy.

JemimaFawr Report 10 Oct 2015 14:14

A VERY IMPORTANT GAME TODAY FOR SCOTLAND!

Scotland MUST BEAT Samoa today, to be sure of going through to the Quarter Finals.

If they lose their game and Japan win theirs tomorrow, Japan will go through instead of them!

If Japan and Scotland lose, but Japan manage to get 2 bonus points (1 from losing by less than 7 points and 1 for 4 Tries or more in their game) and Scotland do not manage to get any bonus points, then Scotland and Japan will TIE, and it will all be down to POINTS DIFFERENCE! :-0 :-0

Just listening to the radio and it's just been announced Jim Diamond has died suddenly. He was 64. I liked his singing, on his own or with PH D. :-(

That's 3 deaths announced today, Geoffrey Howe, Gordon Honeycombe and Jim Diamond.

Pat, I think you are thoroughly enjoying that lovely puppy, regardless of the need to "detol" the place ;-) ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Kandj has visitors so she will just peep in now and again!

I hope her family saw us all waving at them when they were at the match last night! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

No Samoan or Scots that I know of. Another haka so wonder if Kandj will hide again. I'm in a yellow top and dark lavender cut offs so I don't think any of the teams will match me.

Hope you're feeling well.

Pups just gone out in disgust, floor has been mopped and it had Dettol in it. She's not keen on the smell. Well it keeps her off the wet floor. ;-)

Washed her bedding yesterday and added Dettol, she was ok with that. All the windows are open - it's 28 C so is drying quickly and a breeze is helping. I'm sure the smell will soon go.

Will do the rugby first half but then must get ready. Have to be at the restaurant early.

Don't know what time we'll get back but I'll look in if and when I can. :-D

Persephone Report 10 Oct 2015 06:52

Even if the All Blacks do not win the world cup they have won a lot of school children's hearts with them taking time out to be in different areas for chats etc.

I would like to see a Wales v NZ at the end, but never under estimate the French.
