WORLD RUGBY ADMITS CRAIG JOUBERT WAS WRONG!

World Rugby has admitted that Referee Craig Joubert made the WRONG DECISION in awarding Australia that last minute penalty, which knocked Scotland, so cruelly, out of the Rugby World Cup!


RUGBY'S GOVERNING BODY HAVE SAID THAT JOUBERT WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE MATCH-OFFICIAL LINE-UP FOR THE SEMI-FINALS AT THE WEEKEND!

REFEREE CRAIG JOUBERT FACES FULL INVESTIGATION!

South African Referee Craig Joubert, who's controversial decision to award a Penalty to Australia in the last minute of the AUSTRALIA v SCOTLAND Quarter Final at Twickenham yesterday, is facing a FULL REVIEW by WORLD RUGBY.

This decision, which has since been ruled an INCORRECT DECISION, cost Scotland their place in the Rugby World Cup Semi-Finals!


The Scottish Team, who had gone into the lead with a Try from Mark Bennett towards the end of the game, were devastated as they watched Australia's Bernard Foley slam the ball through the posts, for a penalty goal that took the final score to AUSTRALIA 35 ~ SCOTLAND 34, and the Scottish dream was over!

....WHY DID JOUBERT RUN OFF THE PITCH STRAIGHT AFTER THE GAME?

In an interview with the BBC, HEAD OF WORLD RUGBY BRETT GOSPER CONFIRMED that a full review was taking place into the REFEREEING and the above incident.

There is no doubt that Joubert must have been very uncomfortable, especially as the Scottish fans were understandably very upset!

Brett Gosper said that he had not spoken to Joubert as yet, and so he didn't know the reasons why Joubert run off, but "AS A REF, HE MUST HAVE SENSED A BIT OF HOSTILITY!"

AUSTRALIA HEAD COACH MICHAEL CHEIKA claims a plastic bottle was thrown in Joubert's direction as he hastily fled the scene!. :-0

"It's hard to take it! It's a pretty upset dressing room as you can imagine.
We have made BIG STRIDES since the Six Nations and we are not just saying that.
WE WERE ONE CLICK AWAY FROM THE SEMI-FINALS of the World Cup, and arguably, WE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN!......
......... we need to move forward, but now is not the time-
WE NEED TO GET OVER THE DISAPPOINTMENT FIRST"


As Greig said, Scotland have indeed made big strides!
They emerged from the Pool Stage of the RWC as a VERY STRONG TEAM!

They really have become a really strong team, and deserved to have won that game!

All of Scotland will be toasting their boys tonight!

I shall be continuing to cover the World Cup, and in the Spring we have the Six Nations to look forward to!

No matter what nationality we are, all of us enjoy the fun of the games in good nature!

I am proud of my Scottish boys.

Hubby still talking about the Scotland game..... he said "they were robbed" by the referees decision, which he said should have gone to the TMO, but small comfort that for Emma and all Scotland supporters.

So near......... Scotland fought hard throughout and its a shame they lost this way.

I think all of the teams, especially those in the Quarter Finals, were pretty evenly matched!

The Southern Hemisphere has won out again, but we in the Northern Hemisphere put up one heck of a fight!
