Barbra - Nooooooooooooo - not more men - did you see what they did on pages 44 and 45 - it could even have been page 43 too!

Loads of 'missus' jokes - but impossible to find 'mister' jokes - as was admitted - the reason being, men are just - a joke!! :-D :-D

No whys ('y's' ) and wherefores :-D

Though - apparently - 'whys' and wherefores' nowadays have the same meaning, so that expression is redundant :-(

But is the spelling of the mark apostrophe, or apostrophy?

If the latter, then the rules relating to plurals would apply, as you quite correctly state.
