*As every team has lost at least 1 game in this competition....
NO TEAM CAN WIN THE GRAND SLAM THIS YEAR!

THE SIX NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP WILL COME TO AN END NEXT SATURDAY (October 31st) with IRELAND, ENGLAND & FRANCE competing for the win this year.

WALES have not done very well this time under their new Head Coach WAYNE PIVAC. But I'm sure they will pick up by next year.

WALES <3
MAE HEN WLAD FY NHADAU (Match Version)

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

FRENCH NATIONAL ANTHEM
LA MARSEILLAISE
Allons, enfants de la Patrie
Le jour de gloire est arrivé!
Contre nous, de la tyrannie
L'étendard sanglant est levé
Entendez-vous dans les campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats?
Ils viennent jusque dans nos bras
Égorger nos fils, nos compagnes!
Aux armes, citoyens!
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons!
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons!

English translation:

Arise, children of the Fatherland
The day of glory has arrived
Against us tyranny's
Bloody banner is raised
Do you hear, in the countryside
The roar of those ferocious soldiers?
They're coming right into your arms
To cut the throats of your sons, your women!
To arms, citizens!
Form your battalions
Let's march, let's march
Let an impure blood
Water our furrows!

:-0 :-0 :-0 quite blood-thirsty that one :-0

SO WHO’S BACK? –

*WALES' WORLD CLASS CENTRE ~ JONATHAN DAVIES ~ IS BACK FROM INJURY.
* As is Wales Lock CORY HILL. It will be Cory’s first start for Wales since February 2019. He will pack down alongside Alun-Wyn Jones .

*Also returning is Wales’ former 1st Choice Scrum-Half RHYS WEBB who was “in the wilderness” having left Wales to play in France with less than the mandatory 60 Caps under his belt. Rhys is now back and playing his club rugby with The Ospreys again!

*Wearing the number 8 Shirt tonight is an old friend – TAULUPE FALETAU

AND WHO'S NOT?

*THE SHERIFF OF CARMARTHEN – KEN OWENS
The 77-capped Hooker took a heavy blow to the shoulder as he went for the line from a tap penalty during the final quarter against Glasgow.

Ken has since had surgery and will be unable to play for the next 3 to 4 months which means, in all likelihood, that not only will he miss the Autumn Internationals, but that Wales’ Six Nations campaign 2021 will start without him.

*NEW BACK ROWER – JOSH McLEOD
Josh was injured in the same game as Ken plying against Glasgow for Llanelli Scarlets. Josh damaged his hamstring and was on crutches on the sidelines after leaving the fray. He is hoping to be match-fit by December.
