Afternoon everyone. Well the weather excelled itself today. Blue sky and sunshine all day and still a beautiful evening.
Was about 16 degrees with a gentle breeze to keep the midges away thank good ness.
The shoppers were sparce today so the boot fair at the supermarket car park wasnt a huge success. Personally i think people made the most of the weather and went to the parks or a beach and who can blame them.
But was a very long day standing and can feel my back and kegs are very puffy.

Was great to be outside in the fresh air though.

Not sure if i am going to be able to travel or fly south at all. My 60th birthday celebrations with friends has now been postponed. I am seeing the dr on Monday as my legs are full of fluid and bruises and thats before i fly. My friend is a practice nurse and she looked at the pics i sent her and no way can you fly!!

So that is extremely upsetting in more ways than one.
We shall see what dr says mon afternoon.

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine for a change .

have a lovely weekend

Well helloooo chit chatters. Yes Im back in business yay....im so happy to be online and have a new landline and number at last.

As arranged the Open Reach engineer turned up on time and within a couple of hours, all was sorted. Just a shame it took nearly 4 weeks!!

We have settled in and everyday, looking out the back door to a beautiful view...well most days! Today has been pouring hard and windy more like winter. But its very warm even without the heating on.

I have a few tales to tell you but i shall post them tales on separate threads over the coming weeks to keep you entertained!

Hope everyone is keeping well.

Well just a quick hello as i have a few things to sort for the morning. Endless round of Dr, physio, hospital and nurse appointments. Never ending just now. BP was very high yesterday 151/100 so now have to keep twice daily readings for a week.

Was probably the stress caused to me by my electricity company!!

Night night all

Repeatedly dubbed the happiest nation on the planet with world-beating living standards, Finland should be deluged by people wanting to relocate, but in fact it faces an acute workforce shortage. :-S

AnnG, yes they were renting, really strange as they paid for the new fence panels as well. Never even mentioned it when we were talking about the garden and helping them put the fence panels up. Not that they had to of course just seems so strange.

Florence looking forward to hearing your tales of moving. Your neighbour sounds nice.
We've had some really nice neighbours over the years (even those that have been a tad odd have been nice in their own way lol)

Not so warm today but the rain has stopped. Better weather to get the ironing done.

Have a good day everyone.

Ginnie What strange people. Was it rented rather than owned? If so how strange to take out all the plants and then move.

Good morning all. Dry here so far, think it should stay dry today then more rain tomorrow.
Florence, good to see you. You will be pleased to get 'live' again so hope all goes ahead as planned on Wednesday. do hope you are still enjoying the view. :-) :-)

Won't have to water the garden tonight as it is still raining but the garden does need it.

Hello to everyone, hope you are all well.
Another beautiful hot day (too hot for me though). Thunderstorms may happen this evening and then it may get cooler .

Haven't been doing much just pottering in the garden trying to keep it neat and tidy as well as doing bits in the house.

We are looking at replacing our bath with a walk in shower as it gets more difficult to get in and out the bath. We have a shower over the bath at the moment. It's the thought of having the work done that put me off.

Take care everyone.
