Yes “always “ are very much on the weekly shopping list :-D

Just to clarify . Have a hydrocele on the bladder that means when I need to”go” it’s a mad dash to the loo to get there in time ,

Don’t always make it before leaking happens !

Dear Lady Sleep a Lot, Lady Shirley, Lady of LaGooner and Lady Florence

Hello to you all my lovelies

I need to keep this clean or clean-ish!

I heard about a copper who was a frequent visitor to a nearby brothel.

He denied this vehemently. He said with distinction and in desperation
"I am a happily married man!"

The neighbours (and some of his colleagues too) said "They all say that!" :-D

He was really annoyed.

The joke got so out of hand that he applied for a transfer. :-S

(I hasten to add he went in to the place in the line of duty and with several of his lady colleagues and arrested a few people) :-S

Take gentle care
Love EOS
xx

EOS :-D :-D :-D

I do have something that happened l recently and i really did laugh a lot.

So daughter & I were away in Glasgow for a hospital appointment for me. Afterwrads we managed to the shopping centre where a new branch of Poundland had opened. Off daughter went to get all her bargains. One of which was 3 pairs of reading glasses for £3.00. Bargain of the day.

Later that night when we returned she emptied her bag on her bed and then put on a pair of her new glasses and came through to show me. They suited her well i said.

She took them off and carried on sorting out her goodies before sitting down on the bed. A roar of laughter came from her bedroom and i asked her what was so funny? She said she had sat on her new glasses and broken them :-D :-D :-D :-D

I couldn't stop laughing and then said, well they only cost £1 each :-D :-D

Im still laughing at that mishap :-D :-D

Just back from a holiday with my sister,
We laughed a lot - about inane things.
A couple of times, we were laughing so much, we both farted - which caused even more laughter!
I think what makes the 'windy' bit funnier, is that both of us behave so well in company :-D

...if only they knew...

A lot of my sister and I's laughter comes when we don't quite use the right word.
Not so much forgetting things as we get older, more like the brain's become thesaurus- like. The word we use and the word we want would both be under the same 'word set' in a thesaurus.

Fortunately, we'd stopped for lunch when I pointed out the field with 'open plan' pigs in it.
After spluttering for a while, my sister corrected me - 'free range' pigs.

There's not THAT much difference in the meanng of the phrases, is there?
