Well it has been raining a little here today. Had to go to hospital to give blood and urine again.
When sorting out summer and winter clothes here I decided it was time to throw some more clothes out. I found two large washing baskets of clothes. Finally persuaded Johan to part with his walking boots before they start walking off themselves. These clothes have been given to the recycling shop where it helps keep out of work youngsters some work - buying and selling/mending etc.
Am looking forward to seeing my help again tomorrow and then Thursday granddaughter coming for dinner.

This morning it was raining but has stopped for a while, work is ticking over at the minute but we have the kiddies in the back room singing etc which is nice.Have to go over to another library this afternoon, but I don't mind its a change.
The kiddies will be out in ten minutes all wanting story books etc ,its usually a rush but soon over. Some do sit and read here and sometimes the mothers sit and read to them but not many.
We do have a few father and some grandparents as well, who are child minding now .
Hope you are all well.Speak tomorrow.brenda

good afternoon one and all still having a problem with the computor even though I fillowed fred's advice to the letter , spoke to the company I use re phone tv and computor they say is could be something in the browser whatever that is any way I shall get someone to come out and check it over. glad to see you are getting ready for the trip to the hospital with a new dressing gown, we are hainv warm temps but rainy days I am sure the farmers are pleased. not doing much this week, though I did put an application in at the local book store I am bored at the memonet seeing that the children really don't require that much looking after. at the end of the month lindy has an appt. with the local school board this a process she has to do to get her official papers to get on the supply list. so I am off to putter around the place I don't think that I can clean it any more so I shall probably head into a good book bye for now dorothy

Well nice weather today. Have had a bad throat since I came home last Saturday and started to feel dizzy this morning. Went to the doctor's surgery and they checked my blood. Actually a bit low which could mean I have had too many tablets. Must go for a check soon.
Did some shopping as granddaughter Linda is coming for dinner tomorrow.
Johan couldn't sleep very well last night so he is like a bear with a sore head and am trying to keep out of his way now. Tomorrow will be better.
See you tomorrow.

Hi all,
Feeling good today. It is amazing how I can feel so poorly one day and so bright the next, but that is just how I am.
Congratulations on your 50th wedding anniversary. Quite an achievement 50 years. Johan and I had our Golden wedding anniversary last year 17.03.1956. and even had some flowers from the mayor of the town here.
Beautiful weather here still. It can stay like this until Xmas and then get better.

Hi everyone
Believe it or not it is actually our spring, the offical skiing season is over. The weather over the last few days has been fine although heavy showers had been forecast they didn't eventuate. Gayle and I went with seven others to a concert by an Australian choir in Palmerston North on Friday evening and returned to New Plymouth before Saturday midday. The trip down was fine but the trip back was mixture of rain and sunshine.
If you see me chatting here in coming weeks you know I renewed by GR sub, bye for now.

had a good visit with Johns mother and stepdad the new caravan is great ,they would live in it all year if they could find a good residential site,.If they sell their bungalow they would ideally like to buy a small place aboard in the sun for winter time and live in the caravan in the summer over here.
Went to a shopping centre with his mother she got a lovelly new coat and I got some pillows for me and John and a duvet cover for Davids bed.
I also got a cardigan for work and John got some shirts for the holiday .all in the sales so we didn't spend that much.
Hope you enjoy your books Dorothy
Have to start getting lunch ready.See you tomorrow I hope after my visit to the dentist.

hi brenda and one and all glad you had a nice time at blackpool it sounded great, for all of you who enjoy mystery books while I was home I bought a pocket book called fallen idols written by a neil white it was a wonderful read, this chap comes from wakefiled in west yorkshire, now lives in preston where he is now the senior crown prosecutor with the crown prosecution service, it is his first book and a great read he had a web site listed at the back of the book so I e-mailed him to congratulate him etc, and to my amazement he replied he knows bury well and lived in ramsbottom from 1996-2000 he was a solicitor there, he will have new book out spring of 08 i believe anyway I can really recomend this first one maybe you have it in your library brenda if not it is worth getting. to-day it is rainy and cold so I have not been out had a great dinner and a movie with the kids last evening bryan should be home from manouvers this pm, also I learned he has a chance to go on a student exchange to france next summer and a french student will come to his house it is for the month of july, they accept a certain number plus it is quite expensive about 2500 dollars, it would help him with the french language and be quite an experience so we shall see what happens, both andrew and lindy speak french it is the official 2nd language over here, laura is doing quite well with it Ian can say hello goodbye and would you like to dance those three phrases being the only one i know being married to a french man does not mean you learn the language. well time to think about making some tea(supper) not even sure what I want bye for now dorothy

hi one and all brenda hope that your tooth gets fixed soon, what did you see at the theatre, fred your sons do keep you busy don't they but it is great to be needed is it not. Last night I took the three children to bryans sports programme I have forgotten what it is called , as lindy had a ball hockey game she is the goalie, to-night the three have different activities so she is running from one to the other to take and bring them home and I am at the house to get them all to bed, plus doing some ironing for her I do enjoy ironing and she does not so she bakes for me and i iron for her it works out well, the weather has gone strange again it is quite warm to-day about 64 and the sun is shining it may be 80 0n friday and then plummits down again so I shall enjoy the sun while it lasts, nothing esle new at the moment take care bye dorothy
