Hi Wattlers, Not feeling good today and I have just about lost my voice. I now think that I must have a virus, cold or something. The good thing about it is that I am not interested in food. Jood, the broody chook has to be put in a separate small cage elevated so that the air can get all round her and cool her off, for about 4 days, otherwise she will just go back on the nest. It's a buggar when they are broody. Is she a black chook? Mine have been off lay for weeks, just starting to lay a few more. They are getting a bit past it, chicken soup is a good call when collecting eggs. Jill, my congratulations to your daughter, that will be nice, planning a wedding. Happy home coming Lara. Happy birthday to Sarah Jane, (forgive me if I got the name wrong, brain out of action.) Hope every one is well, Gotta go get him indoors some lunch Luv SuzyQ |

Queen Trifley (carrying her son's puta) wanders onto thread. Afternoon everyone. I couldn't stand to be away from a puta for 9 hours so I've confiscated Mark's. Glad Jilly enjoyed her pressie. I can just imagine her sitting there, sucking on her peppermint nipples......heee heee Happy Birthday Sarah.......I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm feeling 'sparkly' enough to go out this arvo. I think a little window shopping might be in order. Nothing too strenuous....2 windows, then sit for coffee, then 2 more windows and more coffee. You get the idea? Devily...I hope your pre-admission goes ok. Big ~~~~waves to everyone else. I'll catch you later. love Trifley X |

Morning Wattlers - what's left of it Happy Birthday to Sarah Jane - wow 13 - hope you have a great day and enjoy your teenage years without too much angst for Mum and Dad Tassie - all the best - you'd think because our teeth do so much during our lifetime they'd be made to last better Lara - welcome home - hope the weather stays warm now Vonny - have a great time camping - hope it doesn't rain - we gave up cos everytime we did it rained - lol I'm off to have an ultrasound this arvo on my legs - have big fat swollen ankles so have to rule out DVT - thought they were a bit better this morning but maybe that was just wishful thinking. Wore the stockings too but by the time we were boarding to come home we'd walked around Universal Studios for 6 hours so that obviously didn't help. Sposed to go back to work tomorrow too. Getting rather windy here and there's a bushfire in Namadji National Park so let's hope that the rain predicted for this arvo arrives. Can someone email the weekend addy - seems to have gone awol on my puta Catch up later ~~~~~~~~~~~to all~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gwenda |

Happy birthday Sarah Jane. hi wattlers, my car needed to visit the mechanic this morning, so i caught the bus to uni. 1 1/4 hour of blissful reading. wish i could do it more often. The atmosphere beyond the waffle is tad premenstrual to say the least. Where do they get the energy from? The day looked picture perfect when I left home. The sun is glorious - oh joy Hope you all have a lovely spring day, whatever you do. love from Yvette |

Good morning Wattlers For goodness sake don't stick your head out of the Wattle thread - it's venomous out there - again! Well - fancy me getting a big one and not even knowing about it - thanks Jude for bringing it to my attention! Chris has reported in via email - he is off to Rottnest Island today on his friend's boat - I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous... besides, I get sea sick! His friend has built a beautiful house on a small subdivided block at Leederville Jude. His friend is the Principal of a a special needs school in Perth and his wife is a travelling support teacher. They also have a daughter about Katherine's age - the older ones are all around the world. It's funny that both Chris and his friend who share so much history from earlier years both had a daughter in their mid forties! He and John actually worked in Perth 30 years ago when they took a break from teaching. They headed off overseas from Perth for 2 years. John came back and stayed there because he liked it so much. Chris came back to Toowoomba - at least he did until he was sent off to many far flung regions of Queensland teaching. Good luck today Tassie - it will all be worth it in the end. Welcome back Lara - you'll be so pleased to be back on broadband in your own little paradise. Best I wake the girls up - they have another friend arriving at 10 so they can work on a script for a film they are doing together. Have a great day everyone. XX Anna PS- Have a wonderful birthday Sarah-Jane. Welcome to the fabulous teenage years. Commiserations to Mum and Dad! |

~~~~~~~~to Tassie, thinking of you :) Morning Jood, we have a lovely day here too. I was awake till late last night :( - remind me NEVER to drink coka-cola again!! upset my heart and my sleep!!! But we had a lovely evening with all the 'kids' catching up on photos of the Birmingham trip and, of course, another cuddle with the grands :) Off teaching today cause we are going away camping tomorrow, so I have moved tomorrow's lessons to a day earlier. Welcome back Lara, so glad you have finally made it home. Hope you all have a delightful day. ~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny |
Great Joy . . . Our Lara is home safe and sound in her own bed tonight! Glad you are able to unravel your mystery Oh Great Queen, be lovely if you were able to catch up with an old friend. It has made me think about an old friends of my own and decide to look for her. I have made contact with a lot of old school friends and friends from my Navy days on the Friends Reunited site (I was a member for years there before I came onto GR) - but still like to find out where my 'Twin' is. Julie and I were born in the same room on the same day (I am 20mins older than her) and always had our birthday parties together untill we were 13. My eyelids are droopy so I'm off to bed . . . catch you all tomorrow . . . hope you got as much out of today as there was to be had! luv Laurie |
Hi Anna...you time the laps in Mudgee and I'll watch.....get it....watch.....PMSL Well ok....it is a little late. I've just exchanged a few PM's with a GR member by the name of Hayley. She lives on the South Coast of NSW so I've told her to drop in to the thread if she ever needs a laugh. Please make her welcome if she pokes her head through the door. TX |
