Good evening all You are all off to bed - it's only 10pm - you're a lot of party poopers. I hope you don't think you're sneaking off to bed at 10pm at Mudgee. By the way - bags me being the time keeper with the stop watch at Mudgee. I'll be very big hearted and time the laps!! I really don't like being submerged in water - it gets in your eyes and your ears and up your nose. Don't panic - I do shower daily! Hope Tamika gets the job Tassie. It's so good for them being responsible and they love the independence of earning their own pocket money. Good luck with the toofy pegs. I've been to a meeting of the Toowoomba Literary Society this evening - they invited representatives from the 3 writing groups in Toowoomba to read one of their stories. It was really great - some very talented writers around. Trifles - you are sparkly again. So good to have the sparkles back. Jood - are the hens moulting? They don't lay when they are moulting. Just finished my TV programme so am off to bed.. Jood The big Home Super Center is about 4km down the the road in Terrey Hills.next door to Bunnings.Corner of Forest Way and Mona Vale Road..They are advertising for staff so it wont be long before it opens.. A very excited Trifley runs onto thread...... I got a reply from my PM about the family I've been dreaming about. The GR member thinks it might be her family....we are now in discussion.....yaaayyy Now (assuming a more regal pose) I think you are right, Joodles. Sitting, sipping, sodas...ah...I mean martoonies... through a straw sounds the way to go for me in Mudgee. Old blue eyes was a repeat but still it's better than nothing. TX

Trifley - I think that person is training for a swim to the Antarctic in Januwerry. .. Why don't you just play ladies with me and sit in a deck chair all day sippin martoonies??? .. I couldnt keep up with all that 6 x freestyle 6 x breastroke 6 x rubber ducky. Jood

Lew - friend of mine who is a potter just happened to mention that a piece of pottery she had at home was made by Claire (is it) Lockyer or something like that - I forget now - she's from Mudgee and fairly well known. D'ya know her? Another friend of mine was visiting Bathurst at the weekend, and they took her around 'the circuit' - she couldn't believe the amount of activity going on, security guards everywhere, asking them what they were doing etc. .. Of course - Bathurst 500 next weekend, isn't it? .. She said they passed trucks and trucks and trucks all headed for Bathurst - Porta Loos, Food etc. .. Got me wondering what a huge event it was and all the pre-preparation for it. .. One thing I know - I won't be out on the highway over that weekend - I'm supposed to feed the chooks on Saturday afternoon, but think it would be quiet on the road then. .. Definitely keep away Sunday! I noticed even tonight when I was coming down the mtn, 4 huge trucks, all the same one after the other, going upwards. (I think they were food trucks) ,, Felt sorry for cars on the road in the areas where there is only one lane :( .. the trucks are sooo slow up them thar hills. .. I feel a bit smug, coz, as a local, I know some of the back streets you can duck into if there is a holdup, also I know exactly where the one into two lanes start :)) Wow Lew, I am depressed, I mean repre - impressed with your swimming activities - you'd put Kieran Perkins to shame. .. Geez girls - we really will have to do something before the Mudgee meet - revolt, bolt or something. .. I could wear a sweeping long dress, huge sunhat, sunnies, and just sit in a deck chair and watch all the goings on and sip martoonies all day. .. Even have my nanna nap in the same chair !!!!! .. Roll on Mudgee. Jood
