Laurie Report 26 Sep 2006 02:32

Back again, family have headed back to Bathurst - was lovely to have them here, lots of snuggles and sniffers (dont you just love the smell of baby hair). Nah Joodles, not practising to be a granny . . . just a 'grandaunt'. The other two boys have been great entertainment too! Poor little supermummy is very worried about her little smurf, he is thriving, but that they dont know what is causing the trubs is very worrying for her. Sandra I spotted you . . . now I know what you were up to it makes sense. I have Princess in christian name and Laurie in surname - before I was a princess I just had the last lot of bling in the surname slot. Next visitors arrive tomorrow, Ray's uncle from Melbourne returning from Grey Army winter posting up north. But that will just be meals, think they said they had booked the van into a park down at Sylvania. Then on Thursday Amanda (the bride of earlier in the month up in Bris) arrives, she has an exam in city on Friday, and is hanging around to spend the weekend with us. Only having one son for the weekend now, Glen and his girlfriend Narelle are going to use the Grand Final tickets with Ray, Paul can't manage it with early meetings at work on Monday morning. No seats available on planes back to Bris on Monday morning early . . . . wonder why ??? Glen and Nell will be here from Friday night till Tuesday night, so that will be fun. Lew, I got the long sleeves out again this morning, sad after the beautiful days we have been having. Only a little hickup I'm sure you will be back in the pool before you know it. Got heaps of linen to push through the washing machine so best go change the load, catch you all later luv Laurie

Judy Report 26 Sep 2006 01:32

Hawkeye here from the blue mountains (first chicken herder, now this ............. *hurt look* pmsl) Actually being a solicitor - I thought they were hawkeyes too lol Lew, I got all ready for 7am this morning - and no-one turned up. .. He rang later to say he had another appt, and would come tonight. I dont mind a) - the garage door is open and I can go out if I want and b) - it's too cold to go anywhere, I was supposed to go to the races at Richmond, but friend rang and said wrong day - its at that other place over near Liverpool - so I figure its a nice day to stay home and do some family history !! <Oh, Warwick Farm, I meant> Think Laurie is practising to be a grandmother, but she may have to have refresher courses from time to time, eh Laurie? Jood

Good morning Wattlers - welcome Sylvia . . . not a bad bunch to hang out with ! One handed type job going on here . . . baby Ben has taken up residence in the other oarm. So cute - he loves music, so you only have to start singing and he starts talking happy baby talk! The mummy, daddy and two brothers are down on the beach collecting shells - bit too cool for bubs down there this morning. Taking too long with one hang so back later . . luv Laurie

Hello Sylvia, you're welcome to drop in any time for a chat, as that's what we Wattlers are very good at, lol. Well, it looks like I'll be putting together a special winery tour for the Mudgee Meet, so I'll work on it and let you know the details. Hazy in Mudgee today, with all the smoke from the Mountains and Coast having blown back towards us and, of course, the hay down at the Abattoir is still smouldering! I'm off to get some breakfast and will check in again soon. Lew Lew xxx
