Hi lovely wattlers, I can't remember who did the lotto but what a clever chook. i've been into r n' r this arvo. watched the local cricket with the offspring and one girlfriend. spent a bit of time doing some f/h and poss. has just bought me in a glass of vino. The rest of the time i've spent away from you has been on automatic pilot. It always happens if I do a fulltime workload at the learning institution, but its worth it. Tomorrow there is a local bike ride around one side of the lake. 26 k's return from here, so if its not too windy, might go on it. In the afternoon, youngest child(under protest) and I are going to see amateur 'Sound of Music'. All I want to do is be normal and indulge in a bit of housework and gardening - can't have it all i suppose. Love Yvette

Arvo all, I'm having such an aimless day without the usual routine, OH has the footy on and I noticed he went out to wash the car (With a Bucket) so the Eagles must still be behind, then I heard a hoot and they have just kicked a goal - better go and be a bit of a supporter I guess. My garden has been well tended today, and I've just done a final watering of the newly sprouted carrots, peas, basil, spuds, beans, spring onions and also nasturtiums both in pots and around the new orange tree. I've also swept the paths and got rid of old pots etc. The wind hasn't died away completely, but has dropped.Time to relax now, pour myself a glass of wine and join the OH. Leftovers for tea - we always make a good nosh of them! Am looking forward to a sleep-in tomorrow, no rush to get away for our break, so I'll check in again before I go. Oh dear, sounds like I'd better go and cheer onthe Eagles.... ~~~ Hz

Mary - yes the SMH can be quite cumbersome, but I start by culling the sections I will never read - Careers, Drive, etc and then sift through the rest. Like the Good Weekend maggo the best!! Have brought the laptop out into the pergola area and watching all the birds having a ball playing, washing and drinking in the bird bath (or River Ganges as I call it!) Have just looked across at laundry and caught sight of the ironing that needs doing - think I had best close the door, so that it doesn't stress me out. Fingers crossed for Lotto tonight.... Lyn

Good arvo you lovely Wattlers & thanks Tony for the Lotto numbers. Had all the family around for dinner last night and now have the whole weekend to myself - although dtr told me before she took off on a uni excursion to Bathurst this morning that she needed a library book taken back to the UNSW over the weekend or it would be overdue!! Decided I would drive over there tomorrow as it's a 45 min trip and on the way back drop off at the Newtown Dendy to watch 'An Inconvenient Truth' - the Al Gore movie. Anyone seen it yet? Was out early this morning and then came home and decided that I might try reading the SMH on the day it arrived!! Instead of halfway through the week, when everything in it is ancient history! Well sat outside under the pergola and next thing I realise I had dozed off - mini 'nanna nap' style in the middle of the day!! Just not me!! Think I am getting into the relaxed mode ready for my week of work. Look out Queensland here I come. Will be catching up with Trifley on Tuesday and will definitely be taking some shots of that fabulous new hairdo. Trust you all have a lovely weekend. Lyn

Afternoon all the Beautiful Wattlers and another brilliant day in Mudgee. Currently 25C and that pool is looking very inviting. Terry and friend are off visiting a few more vineyards. I don't go every time we have guests, as it can becoming a bit boring. Got the Lotto thanks Tony, Leah and Princess. Fingers crossed. I still have $16.45 is Wattie's kitty, so I think I wait until another super draw, subject to Wattie's instructions of course, lol. Ducky, some of those jokes you sent were, ummm, errrr, pathetic! pmsl. ~~~Waves to All the Wonderful Wattlers~~~ Lew Lew xxx :-))))

Good Morning Just a quick hello, trying to get everything done by twelve and we are outa here.Yeah. congratulations Mary - see the swannies won and your other team - good on ya. Won't see much of HZ for the next few days - lol - Have a great time. Thanks for the lotto Tony -fingers crossed we get more than polly wafflers this week! Thai last night was devine, had satay vegetable/tofu skewers and calamari in sweet chilli, basil and veges. Ken had beef satay & Gai Yang (bbq chicken) - he always orders the same thing - the chef keeps telling him no matter how many times he orders it - he is not going to get the recipe! lol. Washed it down with a nice Oyster Bay Sauv blanc. mmmmm..... nice........ Goodness now I'm starving ( wish they were open for lunch!) I know its bad to wish it but I hope the rain stays away for tomorrow - have to get up and paint the roof of the cottage, if you hear a din - it will be my knees knocking like castanets - not real good with heights its ok getting up on the roof, and as long as I don't look down while I'm there , but freeze when its time to come down. Never mind Ken is just as bad as me - taking the phone up with me and already have the SES in the phone! lol Have a great weekend everyone - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ xx Jude 3

Morning all, Lovely sunny day here. WOW Hz, the big adventure has started :) Hope she has a brilliant time! Glad you got some positive answers for Tamika, Tassie. My eldest had a migraine at school (as a teenager) but she had ALL the other symptoms except the headache. She was completely freaked out and the hospital was treating her as a drug case!!! Poor Kid. fortunately she only had a couple of other attacks and she realised what they were so could manage them. I have had the disturbed jagged vision a couple of times but not the headache either! PMSL Ducky. This was a dedicated indoor play area I took grand d to, and had to watch her like a hawk. (did I say that??? LOL) Mind you, it is scarey what that baby can do with the TV/DVD remote and the various mobile phones. Her fine motor skills are incredible.
